Beeston Fields is now one of the very few golf clubs to have a female PGA Golf Professional. Natalie Clarke has been with us only a very short time, but already she's made such a positive impact.

England Golf have named June as "women's golf month" in association with Sky Sports and #THISGIRLGOLFS campaign. The campaign aims to eliminate any stigma surrounding golf, and encourages girls and women of all ages to join others and get involved in a sport which can be enjoyed by any gender and any age.

On the 12th May, Natalie organised and ran a coffee morning for our lady members. They all worked on pitching for an hour and then went in for coffee afterwards. The session was fully booked with 8 lady members turning up and all braving the constant rain!

“I have been a member of Beeston Fields Golf Club for over 20 years. We are very lucky to have Antony, and now Nat, as our professionals.

The lessons I have had with Nat in the last two weeks has made a significant difference to my game. My handicap, instead of steadily increasing, came down two shots this week!

She is extremely friendly and has made me enjoy the game once again.

I wish her well for her time at BFGC.

Jenny Haynes”
